The Appraiser’s Playbook Professional Grade CMAs for Agents

Session Description In today’s rapidly evolving real estate landscape, understanding appraisal changes and leveraging new technology can give agents a powerful advantage. This interactive, hands-on class explores two timely and impactful topics designed to help REALTORS® strengthen their market knowledge and communicate more effectively during the appraisal process.

First, participants will gain a clear and practical understanding of the new Fannie Mae UAD 3.6 Appraisal Report and how the updated format changes the way appraisal data is presented. Agents will learn what these changes mean for their transactions and how to better collaborate with appraisers, anticipate underwriting questions, and help ensure smoother closings.

The session also introduces how AI tools can be used to create stronger, data-driven Comparative Market Analyses (CMAs). Participants will learn how to structure their pricing analysis using methods similar to an appraiser’s approach—allowing them to better support listing prices, present market data to buyers and sellers with confidence, and engage in more informed conversations during property inspections and appraisal reviews.
